CLR stands for Ceiling Light Rejecting, which means the screen is designed to block ambient light coming from above—enhancing contrast and maintaining image clarity in bright rooms. It's ideal for ultra-short throw projectors.
Q: Is this screen motorized?
Yes, the CBSP screen features a smart motorized rising system that smoothly lifts the screen with a single press of the remote control. It also supports voice control when connected to compatible smart home systems.
Q: I noticed a small perforated section at the bottom of the screen. What is that?
This is a built-in acoustic perforation section, exclusive to our CBSP fabric. It's designed for users who have speakers placed behind the screen, allowing sound to pass through clearly without affecting audio quality.
Please note that this feature is only available on CBSP fabric. Other screen types (such as Black Crystal, Soft Matte White etc.) are made from a single continuous piece of material without any perforated sections.
Q: There’s a visible seam or line on the fabric—what is that?
All CBSP screens are designed with a fabric joint at the back or side depending on the size, which is a standard part of the manufacturing process. To ensure a perfectly smooth surface, we include carbon fiber tension rods with your shipment. These rods help flatten the screen when installed.

Q: How should I clean the screen surface?
For different screen materials, here are some cleaning suggestions for your reference:
- Optical Structure Screen (Fresnel, CBSP, BSP): Dry Cleaning: Use a feather duster to lightly dust the screen surface, or gently rub with an eraser.
- Other Screen Materials: Wet Cleaning: Use a soft cloth moistened with water or diluted weak alkaline detergent to wipe the screen.
Note: Do not use alcohol, ether, or similar solvents as they may cause deformation of the screen.

Will LeApex EVO CBSP work with my RGB Laser UST projector?
Yes, it is fully compatible with RGB laser UST projectors.
It works perfectly with models such as AWOL Aetherion Pro & Max, AWOL Vision LTV-3500 Pro, Hisense PX3-PRO, Formovie Theater, and NexiGo Aurora Pro MKII.
These RGB UST projectors are known for their excellent performance in brightness, color reproduction, and sharpness.
When paired with our CBSP material, speckle is minimized to a very low level, providing a cleaner and more comfortable viewing experience especially in ambient light environments.
Can I use LeApex EVO CBSP with standard or long-throw projectors?
This fabric is primarily engineered for ultra-short-throw (UST) projectors, with its CLR zigzag lenticular structure optimized to reject ambient light and deliver strong daytime contrast.
That said, some users have paired it with long-throw or lifestyle RGB laser projectors like Valerion VisionMaster Max, Valerion VisionMaster Pro2, and Valerion VisionMaster Pro, and it still produces quite good image quality.
The performance won’t be as strong as with UST setups because long-throw light doesn’t fully engage the CLR lenticular structure, but thanks to the fabric’s multi-layer design, it can still deliver decent contrast and colors with these RGB laser machines.
Other popular RGB laser models people use include Xgimi Horizon 20, Xgimi Horizon 20 Pro, Xgimi Horizon 20 Max, Hisense C3 Ultra, and Hisense C3 Pro.
Is the bottom black border of the LeApex EVO CBSP floor rising screen acoustically transparent?
No. The bottom black border of the LeApex EVO CBSP floor rising screen is not acoustically transparent and does not feature a perforated design.
In the EVO upgrade, we removed the bottom acoustic transparency because perforations at the bottom can affect screen flatness. This ensures a perfectly smooth and even image surface.
Can the black border height be adjusted?
Yes, the black border height can also be adjusted. However, each screen size has a maximum adjustment range. Please refer to our size chart for specific limits.
Does the LeApex EVO CBSP floor rising screen support voice control?
No. The LeApex EVO CBSP floor rising screen does not support voice control. Currently, the screen operation is handled via Dual Trigger (USB or wired) or remote controls, ensuring reliable and precise operation already.
How does the Dual Trigger (Dual Trigger Sync) feature of the LeApex EVO work?
The LeApex EVO offers two trigger options: a USB (wireless) Trigger and a wired Trigger interface. You only need to use one at a time.
USB Trigger (wireless): Easy to set up and plug into your projector’s USB port. Requires pairing to function.
Wired Trigger: Provides stable operation, ideal if the wireless connection experiences interference from other devices.
Is the remote control infrared, RF, or Bluetooth?
The remote control of LeApex EVO is infrared (IR).
Can the LeApex EVO CBSP floor rising screen be used outdoors?
Yes, it can be used outdoors, especially in the evening when visibility is better. To protect the motor and ensure long-term performance, avoid direct sunlight exposure and keep the screen away from water or moisture.
How can I ensure the screen remains wrinkle-free over time?
The LeApex series features upgraded Tab-Tension cords on both sides, with an improved structural design for enhanced flatness. The high-quality PET Crystal material provides excellent dimensional stability and maintains a smooth surface even under projector heat.
Please note that over long-term use, the tension may gradually relax, which can cause minor wrinkles—this is a normal occurrence.
Does this CBSP fabric support 4K, 8K, or 3D content?
Yes, the screen is compatible with 4K, 8K, and 3D content. However, the final image quality is mainly determined by the performance of your projector, rather than the screen itself.
WUPRO Cinema LeApex CBSP Floor Rising Screen uses PET crystal material, which helps enhance color vibrancy, sharpness, and fine detail reproduction. When paired with a high-quality projector, it delivers a noticeably more refined and immersive viewing experience.
Do I need to fix the screen to the floor? Can it be hidden inside a cabinet?
No, the screen does not need to be fixed to the floor. It features a stable base design that requires no drilling or permanent installation—simply place it and use it directly.
It is also designed for built-in installation. You can customize a TV cabinet based on our provided enclosure dimensions and fully hide the screen inside the cabinet, creating a clean “invisible TV wall” effect.
Can I mount it on the wall?
No. Wall mounting is not recommended for this model. The current wall bracket on our website is designed for the LeApex ONLY. EVO series is not compatible with this bracket.
In addition, EVO version includes a more powerful motor and a heavier base for improved stability. For safety and performance reasons, we do not recommend wall installation.
What is the difference between CLR and ALR screens？
ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) refers to screens that reject ambient light in general.
CLR (Ceiling Light Rejecting) uses a special zigzag optical structure that absorbs ambient light from above.
Can the LeApex EVO be made with Black Crystal, Grey Crystal, Grey Soft, or White Soft fabrics?
At the moment, no. The LeApex EVO is only available with the CBSP material.
