As 120-inch Fresnel ALR projector screens have become increasingly common in the UST laser TV market, demand for larger, more immersive display solutions continues to grow.

Over the past few years, Fresnel screens have gained widespread adoption for their ability to deliver true ambient light rejection, high brightness, and enhanced contrast, making them a preferred choice for modern living room home cinema setups.

At the same time, the rapid development of Tri-Chroma laser projectors and high-performance UST systems has raised user expectations. Consumers are no longer satisfied with standard large-screen formats — instead, they are seeking greater scale, deeper immersion, and uncompromised image quality.

Designed specifically for ultra short throw (UST) projectors, the new model integrates an advanced 8-layer Fresnel optical structure, achieving over 90% ambient light rejection (ALR) while maintaining high brightness and contrast performance.

With a 1.5 peak gain, support for 4K / 8K UHD, HDR, and 3D content, and a seamless 150-inch display, the screen is positioned to meet the needs of high-end users seeking a premium viewing experience in both controlled and ambient lighting environments.

8-Layer Fresnel Structure with Speckle Reduction

It is also worth noting that within the 8-layer Fresnel optical structure, a dedicated speckle-reduction layer has been integrated.

This makes the screen particularly relevant for users of laser projectors prone to speckle, especially high-brightness UST models. With the recent release of projectors such as the AWOL Vision Aetherion, this feature is expected to attract increased attention from users seeking a more refined viewing experience.

About Availability

The newly launched 150-inch Fresnel ALR projector screen is now available for purchase through official channels. Alongside the development of the 150-inch model, WUPRO has also introduced a 130-inch option, offering a more flexible size range. For users who find the jump from 120" to 150" too significant, the 130" model provides a balanced middle ground.
