We are excited to officially introduce the WUPRO Cinema Lenticular UST screen material—a breakthrough in optical engineering designed specifically for massive, large-format ultra-short-throw (UST) projection systems. If you have been looking to unlock a true laser TV experience at a massive scale without compromising on contrast, this is the solution you have been waiting for.

Beyond the Horizon: Why We Developed Lenticular UST Material

At WUPRO Cinema, we always listen to the high-end home theater enthusiast community. Our traditional CBSP (Ceiling Blocking Screen Material) has long been the gold standard for high-contrast UST setups. However, standard raw material physics imposed strict scaling limits:

  • Fixed Frame Screens (100% Seamless): Maxed out at 127 inches.

  • Motorized Floor Rising Screens: Maxed out at 130 inches.

  • The Splicing Dilemma: To build a fixed frame screen beyond 127 inches using older tech, manufacturers had to splice two pieces of fabric together. For purists watching 4K or 8K HDR content, that subtle center seam could ruin the cinematic immersion.

To eliminate this compromise, our engineering team developed the Lenticular UST material—a dedicated, extra-wide format fabric built from the ground up for massive seamless home theater screens.

Key Features of Lenticular UST

1. 150" Ultra-Wide Seamless Viewing Experience

Say goodbye to distracting seams. Utilizing our exclusive One-Piece Fabric Technology, WUPRO can now deliver a flawless, continuous 150-inch ambient light rejecting screen.

2. Advanced CLR Optical Microstructures

Engineered specifically for Ultra Short Throw (UST) projectors, our Ceiling Light Rejecting (CLR) surface features an advanced optical lenticular structure. It effectively filters out up to 90% of overhead ambient light.

3. Deep Black Levels & 4K/8K Pixel Clarity

Deeper black levels, superior contrast, and crystal-clear 4K/8K resolution that brings every detail to life.

4. Precision-Tuned 0.8 Gain for Maximum Eye Comfort

With a precision-tuned 0.8 gain, this screen eliminates hot-spotting and reduces eye fatigue. It strikes the perfect balance between high brightness and natural color reproduction, making it ideal for long-duration movie marathons or gaming.

Head-to-Head Comparison: Lenticular UST vs. CBSP

To help you choose the right material for your project dimensions, here is a quick breakdown of how our new Lenticular UST fabric compares to our classic premium CBSP material:

Feature CBSP Lenticular UST
Maximum Seamless Frame Size 127" 150"
Maximum Floor-Rising Size 130" 150"
ALR/CLR 93% - 94% 90%
Gain 0.6 0.8
HighLight Enhanced Contrast; Ultra high Image Quality Seamless One-Pieced; Balanced Image Quality

Technical Notes: Understanding the Lenticular Surface

You may notice fine vertical lines on the screen surface when it is viewed without projection, especially under strong side lighting or at very close viewing distances.

This is completely normal and is an inherent characteristic of lenticular optical technology rather than a manufacturing defect.

Once the projector is turned on, these microscopic optical structures become invisible during normal viewing. They do not affect image sharpness, color accuracy, brightness, contrast, or overall viewing performance.

Important Installation Notice

The WUPRO Cinema Lenticular UST material is specifically engineered for Ultra Short Throw (UST) projection systems only. Idoes not support ceiling-mounted (overhead projection) setups.
