Speckle is a physical phenomenon caused by the interference of laser light when it reflects on the screen surface. It is more commonly noticeable on high-brightness, triple-laser projectors such as Hisense C2 Pro/Ultra, C3 Pro/Ultra, Valerion Visionmaster Pro/Max, Xgimi Titan Noir Max, Xgimi Horizon 20 Pro/Max.

Grey Crystal and Black Crystal are metallic-coated materials and do not provide speckle suppression. If you are sensitive to speckle, we recommend Soft Matte Grey or Soft Matte White materials instead.

In most cases, when viewing distance exceeds 3 meters, speckle becomes almost invisible.

No screen can completely eliminate it, but Soft Matte White reduces it as much as possible. It outperforms most standard ALR materials in speckle reduction.

Yes, it is compatible with 4K, 8K, and 3D content. The screen itself does not add these functions; the projector must support the corresponding resolution or 3D functionality to display them.

Soft Matte White is not an ALR material, so it is not recommended for bright daytime environments. If daytime use is necessary, we recommend controlling light (closing curtains). The best experience is achieved in a dim or dark room.

Soft Matte White: Better speckle reduction with a cleaner and brighter image, especially suitable for dark-room movie watching.

Soft Matte Grey: Slightly better contrast and remains more watchable in moderately brighter rooms compared to Matte White. However, its speckle reduction performance is not as strong as Matte White.

If minimizing laser speckle is your top priority, Matte White is usually recommended. If you prefer a bit more contrast while keeping good overall balance, Matte Grey may be the better choice.

Our screen surface is designed to provide consistent optical performance across the entire screen, but it does not actively compensate for off-axis projection angles.

When a projector is installed off-center, brightness uniformity is usually determined more by the projector’s optical capabilities than by the screen itself. Features such as optical lens shift and better off-axis light control can help maintain a more even image.

Some brightness variation may still occur depending on the projection angle, projector model, and room conditions.

Yes. The Soft Matte White material features a white projection surface on the front and a black backing layer on the rear. The black backing cannot be removed, as it is an integral part of the screen material itself rather than an additional layer added for the floor-rising structure.

It is not recommended to install the screen directly in front of a window, as the material is not fully light-blocking and some light may pass through from the back depending on the ambient lighting conditions.

Minor creases may occasionally occur during transportation or long-term packaging and are generally cosmetic rather than a functional issue.

We recommend leaving the screen fully extended for some time after installation. In most cases, the surface tension and material elasticity will gradually reduce the visibility of the marks.
